The EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus and Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 represent two different philosophies in the 1000Wh power station class. EcoFlow packs in every feature it can. Jackery focuses on simplicity and portability. Both work well, but they serve different priorities.

Charging Speed
The Delta 3 Plus charges in about 56 minutes from a wall outlet. The Explorer 1000 v2 takes around 2 hours. That difference matters on busy mornings before a trip or when you need to top off between uses.
Solar charging is even more lopsided. The Delta 3 Plus accepts 500W of solar input versus the Jackery's 200W. With a 200W panel, both charge at the same rate. But if you own a larger panel array, only the EcoFlow can take advantage of it.
Output Power
The Delta 3 Plus delivers 1,800W continuous, nearly double the Jackery's 1,000W. This means the EcoFlow runs a coffee maker, space heater on low, or a microwave. The Jackery handles laptops, lights, fans, and smaller appliances but cannot push into heavy-load territory.
For most campers, 1,000W is enough. But for home backup, the extra headroom makes the Delta 3 Plus far more versatile.
UPS Capability
The Delta 3 Plus functions as a UPS with sub-10ms switchover. You can leave it plugged in and connected to your computer, router, or NAS. When power goes out, it takes over instantly. The Jackery does not offer UPS functionality at all.
Portability
At 24.2 lbs versus 25.4 lbs, the Jackery has a slight edge. Both are comfortable one-person carries, but the Jackery's more compact form factor makes it easier to fit into tight spaces.
Which Should You Buy?
Choose the Delta 3 Plus if:
- You want UPS capability for home or office use
- Fast charging is important to your workflow
- You plan to pair with 300W+ solar panels
- You need to run appliances over 1,000W
Choose the Explorer 1000 v2 if:
- Budget is a primary concern ($200 less)
- You prefer simplicity over features
- Your loads stay under 1,000W
- You value the lighter, more compact form factor
Both are excellent power stations. The Delta 3 Plus is more capable. The Explorer 1000 v2 is the better value.
